The NEET PG 2024 registration period opens today at 3 p.m. Here’s how to complete the application. Registration for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test for Postgraduate Examinations (NEET-PG) 2024 is now open, according to the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS).
On its official website, natboard.edu.in, candidates can fill out the application form from April 16 to May 6, 2024, if they wish to appear in the NEET PG 2024 entrance exam. Today, Tuesday, at 3 p.m., the registration procedure will start.
The preponed date of the NEET PG exam is June 23, 2024. It had previously been slated for July 7, 2024. Announcing the results is scheduled for July 15, 2024. The academic year will start on September 16 and the counseling sessions will run from August 5 to October 15.
How to complete up the application for NEET PG 2024
Step 1: Go to natboard.edu.in, the NBE’s official website.
Step 2: Select the NEET PG 2024 link from the homepage.
Step 3: Log in to the account after completing the registration process.
Step 4: Complete the application.
Step 5: Complete the application and click “Submit” after paying. (The fees are ₹2,500 for applicants in the SC, ST, and PWD categories and ₹3,500 for those in the general, OBC, and EWS categories.)
Step 6: Save a hard copy of the confirmation page for your records.
The NMC has also determined that August 15, 2024, is the deadline for completing the internship in order to qualify for NEET PG 2024.
There are 200 multiple-choice questions in the NEET PG exam, and there are only four options available in English for each question. Candidates must choose the right response from the four alternatives given for each question. Three hours and thirty minutes are allotted for finishing the paper examination. Incorrect responses will result in a 25% deduction from the final score. Unanswered questions will not result in a mark deduction.

There are 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in the NEET PG test, and each one is worth four marks. Consequently, the exam’s overall score is 800. Each right response earns candidates four marks. But there’s a penalty of one mark lost for each wrong answer.
The updated schedule states that the counseling procedure would begin on August 5 and run through October 15, 2024, with the results of the postgraduate entrance exam to be announced on July 15, 2024. The deadline for enrollment is October 21, 2024, and the new academic session will start on September 16 of that year.
